National Driver Register (NDR)

Commercial Drivers License CDL Disqualifications

The operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) is regulated under federal law and drivers of such vehicles are required to have a Commercial Drivers License CDL. After many years of safe, incident free commercial driving I was cited for a serious infraction that could have cost me my current job and diminished the possibility of finding another to replace it. After sifting through the many traffic attorney options in the area I took a chance with Mr David Colt, an attorney that seemed to know more about CDL issues than the others. For a reasonable fee and a very small amount of time, David was able to deliver the result that he claimed he would be able to acheive over the phone during the initial consultation. I was questioning my decision on getting any traffic lawyer but it literally saved my license. Dave is a smart polite articulate guy who knows his way around traffic law. My case I was looking at a 16 point speeding ticket on top of many priors, he got it reduced to 6 which blew my mind. My notion of lawyers before this was that all they wanted was the money out of your pocket. Dave was so helpful he advised me through and gave me the info I needed to get out of a completely separate 4 point insurance ticket. He didn't expect or even ask for any sort of compensation on that ticket. In summary dave is knowledgable, honest, stand up guy that genuinely cares about his clients and their future.

I received a speeding ticket going over 25-39 MPH in a school zone, police officer wrote me up for 6 Points and a mandatory court date.
