With many Drunk Driving charges, the time to protect your driving rights is limited to 7 days after the violation occurs and you must act immediately or else you may forever lose your rights to a Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Express Consent Hearing! Depending upon the charge, the DMV may automatically revoke your driver's license for up to nine months or longer unless you properly request an administrative hearing regarding the charge. If you have properly requested the hearing, you will then have the right to an Express Consent (EC) Hearing to challenge the revocation.
